God is happiness and joy. Can you ever imagine a sad God? Of course not!
According to the proverb, God helps cheerful people. He created man to be happy, not sad.
I once wrote in one of my books, The Vibrations of Words, that life is like a painting. If you are happy and cheerful you will paint a beautiful picture, otherwise the result will be the opposite.
According a Buddhist friend of mine, reality is a projection of the mind. You create your own reality! If your mind is filled with resentment, you will lead a gloomy life, while if you live with a smile on your face, life will smile at you.
My mother repeated this proverb to me every time I was sad. This happened quite often when I was young. More than once, I confronted very difficult situations that marked my life.
At the time, when I got up in the morning, my mother prepared a cup of coffee for me, and meanwhile she said, “Cori allegru Diu l’aiuta!” Then she added, “Smile more and more and you will transform your life!”
